REAL ESTATE PURCHASE TRANSACTION FLAT RATE FEE
UPDATE: ALBERTA LAND TITLES OFFICE HAS INCREASED TITLE, MORTGAGE AND CAVEAT REGISTRATION FEES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 20, 2024. ACCORDINGLY, WE HAVE INCREASED OUR FLAT RATE FEES BELOW TO INCLUDE THE ASSOCIATED INCREASES IN LAND TITLES REGISTRATION COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR TRANSACTION. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT CARMEN IF YOU REQUIRE MORE EXPLANATION.
GST is included in the flat fees listed below, except where indicated otherwise. These prices are relevant for purchases with mortgages. If you are purchasing with cash (no mortgage), the flat fees below will be reduced. Please contact Carmen for specific quote.
Additional disbursements will be charged for:
(1) property that has more than 1 title, a disbursement cost to obtain the additional title(s)/tax certificate(s) will be added;
(2) cost of Title Insurance if it is requested or required by the lender;
Additional legal fees will be charged if: (1) virtual signing is required (+$150); and (2) Bridge Financing is going to be required (+$150)
